Privacy notice
How we handle information from inquiries, quotation requests and service requests submitted to Gerat Tool.
1. Controller and scope
Luis Adrian Nava Sánchez, operating under the trade name Gerat Tool, is responsible for personal data received through geratool.com and the follow-up of those inquiries by WhatsApp or email. 2. Information we may receive
Name, company, email, telephone or WhatsApp number, city and state, and any personal information you voluntarily include in your request. Tool names, codes, materials, operations and quantities help us understand your needs. Quotations do not require sensitive personal data, bank information, passwords or identity documents. Avoid unnecessary personal information about others or confidential plant information.
3. How we use your information
To answer inquiries, prepare and follow up quotations, clarify your application, and coordinate technical support, plant visits, tool trials or training you request. Commercial use is limited to following up those requests. Using this website does not add you to newsletters, promotional campaigns or advertising lists.
4. How the form and guided inquiry work
The guided inquiry prepares answers in your browser. The form lets you review a message and then send it through WhatsApp or your email application; it does not send automatically or store a copy of your request in a web application database. Opening a link with a prepared message may communicate it to your chosen provider before you finish sending. Once sent to Gerat Tool, messages and contact details remain in the channels used to assist you. Answers are not currently sent to an artificial intelligence service.
5. Hosting, cookies and external links
The application stores only your language preference in browser local storage; you can delete it in your browser settings. We have not added Google Analytics, advertising pixels or advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser information, technical requests and security cookies to deliver content and prevent abuse. These technical logs are separate from the information you type into the forms. Catalogs, social networks, WhatsApp and email are external services with their own policies; opening them shares the information needed to connect. Browser settings let you control cookies and storage; some restrictions may affect browsing. Gerat Tool counts clicks by day, channel, brand, operation, entry point and language to understand interest in its services. The measurement database stores only aggregate counts, not messages, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, IP addresses, destination URLs or visitor identifiers. Counts do not represent unique people or confirmed messages. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected.
6. Providers and disclosure
Hosting, security, email and messaging rely on technology providers whose infrastructure may operate outside Mexico. Information from these inquiries is not intended for sale or transfers for third-party advertising. If a transfer to another controller becomes necessary, its purpose will be disclosed and consent obtained when required, except where permitted by law. Lawful requests from authorities will be handled under applicable rules.
7. Retention and protection
Information received through our contact channels is kept for the time needed to handle requests and follow-up, and to meet applicable legal obligations and responsibilities. When no longer needed, information will be blocked and deleted where appropriate. Access must be limited to those involved in handling and protecting it. HTTPS and safeguards help limit unauthorized access; no method guarantees absolute security.
8. Access, rectification, cancellation and objection
To exercise your ARCO rights under Mexican law, email gerat@geratool.com with the subject «Privacy / ARCO». Include your name, a reply method, the right you wish to exercise and details to locate the inquiry. For corrections, specify the change and supporting information. Identity or representation must be verified before disclosure or changes; we will explain the process. Do not submit identity documents in the quotation form. A determination will be communicated within 20 business days and, if granted, implemented within the following 15. Each period may be extended once for an equal period with justification, as allowed by law.
9. Restricting use or withdrawing consent
Email gerat@geratool.com with the subject «Privacy / restrict use» or «Privacy / withdrawal», describing your request and a reply method. Identity will be verified when needed. Withdrawal does not affect prior processing or legal retention obligations. Restricting essential information may prevent us from continuing a request. Advertising consent is not required to receive assistance.
10. Changes and legal reference
The current notice and its date will be published at https://geratool.com/aviso-de-privacidad. New purposes or consent requirements will be communicated before information is used for that purpose. This notice covers the website and inquiry follow-up; specific information may be required for contracts or invoicing. The legal reference is Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. The Spanish version is the reference text for this notice under Mexican law.
